Cornhole is the fastest growing sport in America and, fortunately, this fun and exciting game requires very little in terms of equipment. It is a simple sport that won’t cost you an arm and a leg when it comes to buying the necessary boards and bags. While many participants will want to build their own boards using 2 x 4s and plywood, the vast majority of people will want to buy cornhole bags from a reputable corn toss company that uses industrial sewing machines and high-quality materials. Typically, when purchasing these bags, the standard colors offered are red and blue, as these are the colors of choice for almost all cornhole tournaments held around the nation.
However, just because red and blue are the default colors, this is no reason to sell yourself short if you really want to find the two colors which best represent your favorite pro, college or high school sports team. Do enough internet research and you will find that cornhole companies offer a wide variety of colors. One of the many benefits of using duck canvas material to manufacture these bags is that canvas comes in many colors and you should have no problem whatsoever finding the appropriate tones to match your favorite team.
Also, some cornhole bag companies will even list all the pro and college sports teams and indicate which of their two colors best match up with these teams. This saves the consumer an enormous amount of time as they won’t have to expend hours on end searching for “Dodger Blue” or “Tennessee Orange”. However, a word of caution. If you search the internet for your favorite team, you may come across cornhole bags that have the actual logo of the team printed on the bag material. The fabric often used for this type of bag is called trigger cloth, a cheap variant of the more durable duck canvas. Canvas is a far superior fabric material. Also, bear in mind that bags made out of anything other than duck cloth are technically in violation of official cornhole rules, and could be just the excuse a referee needs to eject you from a sanctioned competition.
