The last time I visited my favorite American style sandwich fast food restaurant I used free Subway coupons that I had printed online.
The savings that I was given gave me a great idea on how to ultimately save a ton of money and just might let me afford all the things that I thought I would never have the means to buy. I’ve since come up with a philosophy when it comes to buying anything in a retail setting.
Be it eating out for lunch, shopping at the mall, renting cars or staying in hotels, there are literally millions of discounts that people don’t take advantage of every day. Everyone knows about promotions that companies run and conglomerate websites that look at all the best deals that are currently available.
One thing that people don’t seem to take advantage of are printable coupons which can be found for free online. My example at Subway was the first time that it dawned on me about how many savings opportunities we have everyday which float by the way side simple because we didn’t put in the tiny bit of effort it requires to take advantage of the savings.
By using the Subway coupon example I started to think about all the restaurants, stores, and activities that I do every year that I could use coupons to save. Overstock.com coupons are a real popular one that many people use to save money.
I recently went on a trip across the country to California and used my the philosophy that if I wasn’t using a coupon then I wouldn’t buy anything.
I found discounts at restaurants like Subway, Applebee’s, TGI Fridays, McDonalds coupons, Olive Garden Coupon and so on. I was also able to secure coupons for my rental car, hotel, and several stores that I shopped at along the way. I ended up saving over three hundred dollars simply by planning where I would shop and finding the right discounts. You can do it too!
