This helps in keeping you motivated and saves you lots of driving time. Depending on what type of workout you are doing you can get a smith machine home gym for lifting or a general workout machine with several types of workouts.

In order to achieve these goals, you will find you do better by writing down your daily achievements and keeping a log. This way you can see your progress. It is also good to have the original goals written down so you always see and are reminded of what you are trying to accomplish.
3.    Have a workout plan. Make a workout plan that targets specific muscle groups and stick to it. This way you are consistent and growing your muscles. You will want to change the workout plan every 4-6 weeks so your body doesn’t get too used to the plan. That is a simple technique called muscle confusion that is very effective for growing muscle. Make sure you are throwing in some cardio training too.
4.    Consider using supplements. You don’t need to go crazy here but at the very minimum, make sure you are taking protein. Protein helps the muscle repair themselves and grow back at a faster rate. You may also consider something to give you energy while at the gym. This helps you push your muscles farther, making for faster weight gains.  Keep an eye on your blood sugar levels too if you have a history of problems in that department.
