What’s The Most Effective Cardio?

Cardio can do wonders for your body in whatever way you choose to do it. You can do yoga (yes it’s another type of cardio workout), aerobics, dancing, kickboxing, swimming or any form of exercise that will increase your heart rate and improve your breathing and stamina. But when it comes to the easiest yet the most effective cardio workout, no other exercise can beat the simplicity and effectiveness of walking and jogging daily.

You can perform these effective cardio workouts in two ways.
1. High intensity
2. Low intensity

There is absolutely no need to just stick with walking or jogging alone, you can always perform both in an alternate manner as long as you finish your set plan.

How to prepare an effective cardio workout plan:

First thing to do is allot a time approximation of how you want to get done with your daily workout. For a low intensity workout, you will need at least an hour to finish it (but you can always add some more if you want to) and for a high intensity cardio and faster muscle gains you will need at least 30 minutes to be allotted as your exercise routine’s end time.

Sample Low intensity walking-jogging Workout:

1. Start by warming up and stretching
2. Power walk on a slow pace but make sure you apply pressure on your legs up to your buttocks for the first 15 minutes.
3. After the first 15 minutes walk, jog for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Continue walking for the next 10 minutes and jog again for another 10 to 15 minutes.
5. You can finish the remaining time allotment walking or jogging.
6. Perform some stretching exercises once your done.

Sample High Intensity walking-jogging workout:

1. Start by warming up and stretching
2. Power walk on a fast pace making sure that you are applying pressure on your legs up to your buttocks for the first 10 minutes.
3. After the first 10 minutes jog fast for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. You can either finish the allotted time minimum of 30 minutes jogging or walking.
5. Perform some stretching exercises once you done.

Jogging and walking is considered to be the most effective cardio exercise tandem to lose weight because it is safe to do daily. It does not need a day of rest before another set of workout schedule can be done and most of all it does not need anything aside from yourself and your will to perform.  Consider looking at heart monitor or Polar RS300X heart rate monitor.
