Easy Home Remedies For Teeth Whitening

White teeth are something that we all covet. With whiter and brighter teeth we feel more comfortable and confident in ourselves. Our daily habits sometimes get in the way of us having the best teeth that we can have however.

Coffee, tea, red wine, and fruit juices can all wreak havoc. Most of us will run out to the store and buy a home whitening kit, but some of these products contain harmful ingredients and preservatives.

For this reason, many people are starting to make their own home remedies for teeth whitening.  Here are a few things you can try to brighten your smile naturally.

Foods that will help you to have whiter teeth

There are certain crunchy foods like carrots, celery, and peppers that naturally help to whiten teeth. The crunching action that occurs when you chew helps to remove stains and plaque from the teeth. Try to incorporate these foods into your diet as much as possible.

Use Baking Soda as a teeth whitener

Baking soda is a great natural cleaner. You can use it for just about anything, including your teeth. You can clean out cheap tents for camping, scrub your kitchen sink, and brush your teeth with it.

To make a simple home whitening kit, mix a small amount of natural toothpaste with a small amount of baking soda and put it on thin strips of aluminum foil. Wrap the coated aluminum foil around your teeth for a half an hour twice a day.

Repeat as necessary until you see results. You can also just mix the toothpaste and baking soda together and put it on your toothbrush and brush normally to remove minor stains.

Apple Cider Vinegar to whiten teeth

Apple cider vinegar’s natural acidic properties make it very good at removing stains on teeth. Pour a small amount onto your toothbrush and brush thoroughly.

Be careful to avoid any cuts or sores in your mouth because the vinegar could sting and cause a slight burning sensation. Brush your teeth normally afterwards to remove any harsh taste.
