When you have cats, it is important that you clean out their litter box every single day. If you don’t, then you are going to have a smelly house and then you are going to have very unhappy cats as well.

I have three adorable cats. I love them all to death, but they also cause my house to stink like no other due to their frequent use of their cat litter box.

When you have cats, it is important that you clean out their litter box every single day.

If you don’t, then you are going to have a smelly house and then you are going to have very unhappy cats as well.

You do not want a cat that is unhappy with the state of their litter box otherwise they will just go to the bathroom on your clothes, on the couch, or worse; on your bed.

I know this from personal experience. A very unpleasant personal experience at that.

This is why it is imperative that you keep your cat litter boxes clean. Not only will your cats be happy, but your house will also be smelling sweet and fresh on a daily basis.

When cleaning a cat litter box, it is important to use clumping litter. Clumping litter is the litter that is specially formulate to clump when it gets wet, or when your cat deposits feces onto it.

There are many types of litter that perform this clumping action. In order to make sure that you have bought the correct kind of litter, check the box or bag to make sure that its says ‘clumping’ on it. This is the kind of litter that you need to use.  You can use clumping litter in any kind of box, including the ones that are in the newer and very popular cat litter box furniture.

Also, you will need to make sure that you take the time each and every day to clean out the cat litter box. Failure to do so will result in your house smelling like cat, and your cat being unhappy to the point where they will pee on your bed. So if you want to prevent this from happening, I suggest that you clean out that litter box each and every day.
